Overview

Micron Technology is seeking a Senior Dry Etch Process Engineer to join their Boise, Idaho team. This position is crucial as Micron undergoes a historic investment in semiconductor manufacturing, focusing on the development and optimization of processes to enhance product quality and drive yield improvements. The role requires collaboration with multi-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues and implement effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Start up, develop, and optimize processes to improve product quality.
  • Drive process yield improvements, cost reduction, productivity enhancements, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with equipment and integration engineers to resolve production issues.
  • Use project management skills to achieve project milestones related to yield, defectivity, production, and cost.
  • Analyze and drive improvements across SPC (statistical process control) charts.

Required skills

  • 5+ years of industry experience working as Process Owner within Dry Etch.
  • BS or Masters in Engineering, equivalent military experience, or AAS with 5+ years of industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Data Science and Programming.
