Overview

Micron is looking for a Senior Dry Etch Process Engineer to join its Boise expansion team as part of a significant investment in semiconductor manufacturing. The role involves optimizing processes to enhance product quality and yield while collaborating with multi-functional teams to solve production challenges.

Key responsibilities

  • Start up, develop, and optimize dry etch processes
  • Drive process yield improvements and cost reduction
  • Collaborate with equipment and integrations engineers to resolve production issues
  • Use project management skills to meet project milestones
  • Enhance statistical process control (SPC) performance

Required skills

  • 5+ years of industry experience as Process Owner in Dry Etch
  • BS or Masters in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient in Data Science and Programming
