Overview

Micron is seeking a Senior Dry Etch Process Engineer in Nampa, Idaho, to support their $15 billion semiconductor manufacturing investment. This role focuses on developing and optimizing dry etch processes to enhance product quality, yield, and efficiency within a collaborative, multi-functional team environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Startup, develop, and optimize dry etch processes
  • Drive process yield improvements and cost reduction
  • Collaborate with equipment and integration engineers to resolve production issues
  • Use project management skills to achieve project milestones
  • Improve statistical process control (SPC) charts

Required skills

  • 5+ years of experience as Process Owner within Dry Etch
  • BS or Masters in Engineering or equivalent military experience
  • Understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficient in Data Science and Programming skills
