Overview

Micron Technology is seeking a Senior Dry Etch Equipment Engineer to join their Boise expansion team as part of a $15 billion investment in semiconductor manufacturing. The engineer will focus on the installation, maintenance, optimization, and development of Dry Etch equipment, playing a crucial role in enhancing manufacturing processes and contributing to the production of high-quality semiconductor components.

Key responsibilities

  • Install and qualify dry etch equipment in a new cleanroom
  • Perform data analysis, preventative and corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting for dry etch equipment
  • Collaborate with process engineers to resolve equipment-related production issues
  • Use project management skills to complete project milestones related to equipment deficiencies
  • Develop and implement Total Productive Maintenance strategies
  • Establish productive vendor relations to maintain supplier engagement

Required skills

  • 2 years of industry experience with Dry Etch equipment
  • BS or Master's in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Willingness to travel internationally for training
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Proficiency in Data Science and Programming
