Overview

Micron is seeking a Senior Diffusion Process Engineer to join their expansion team in Boise, Idaho. This role focuses on the startup, development, and optimization of processes within semiconductor manufacturing, particularly in the area of DRAM production. Candidates will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance process efficiency and yield in a dynamic industry environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Startup, develop, and optimize processes to improve product quality.
  • Drive process yield improvements, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement.
  • Collaborate with equipment and integrations engineers to resolve production issues.
  • Use project management skills to achieve milestones related to yield, defectivity, production, and cost.
  • Drive improvements across all Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts.

Required skills

  • 2+ years as Process Owner within Diffusion.
  • BS or Masters in Engineering, equivalent military experience, or AAS with 5+ years of industry experience.
  • Understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in Data Science and Programming.
