Overview In this role you turn enterprise data into trusted insights to guide decision-making. You'll design and maintain Power BI products, support Microsoft data platforms, and strengthen data governance while enabling self-service analytics. You will partner with leaders and technical teams to define KPIs and scalable reporting that drive business impact. Remote-friendly work with US citizenship and a path to lead and mentor within the Digital Data Services team. This is a pivotal role for shaping data culture and decision support at MTSI. Key requirementsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 5 years in BI, data analysis, or related field.Secret clearance eligibility; US Citizenship required.Power BI development with DAX, Power Query, semantic models, and data visualization.SQL proficiency (Microsoft SQL Server preferred) for data retrieval and validation.Experience gathering requirements, defining KPIs, and translating needs into technical specs.Understanding of relational data, dimensional modeling, data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and data governance.Strong analytical judgment and attention to detail.Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Independent work style with collaborative cross-team partnership.Power BI (DAX, Power Query, semantic models, dashboards).SQL Server and data retrieval/validation.Microsoft Fabric, Azure data services, APIs, data integration.
