Job Description

Overview

The Senior Data Analyst at Managed Care Advisors will focus on providing high-profile customer data and analytics to support informed decision-making within the healthcare sector. The role involves leveraging advanced analytics, developing reports and visualizations, and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and program value.

Key responsibilities

  • Produce and present ad-hoc and standard reports with visualizations to customers.
  • Create reports and visualizations using Power BI, SQL, Excel, and Access.
  • Support customers by integrating in-house and third-party data sources.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to provide strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in reporting processes.
  • Document processes and provide quality reviews of analytic tools.
  • Participate in testing and approving new software tools.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years in analytics and healthcare management.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, particularly Power BI.
  • In-depth knowledge of analytical software and database reporting.
  • Expertise in MS Office Suite, SQL, SSMS.
  • Familiarity with VBA, Tableau, R, Python, SAS, and Snowflake.
