Overview

Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for a hybrid role with a Global Financial Institution in Jersey City, NJ. This senior-level position involves supporting a Cyber Data Operations team by analyzing data sources, creating technical requirements, and working closely with stakeholders and data development teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Gather and organize data from internal systems, spreadsheets, and reports
  • Analyze trends, patterns, and business performance using Excel or BI tools
  • Scrub data from upstream source systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data sources

Required skills

  • 10+ years of experience as a Data Analyst
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret data in a business context
  • Effective communication skills
  • Exposure to SQL and relational databases
  • Proficiency in Python
