Overview

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer for their Tewksbury, Massachusetts location. This role involves ensuring the security of various systems and compliance with cybersecurity requirements while working onsite. Candidates must possess an active U.S. government issued security clearance and are expected to provide guidance on cybersecurity solutions and perform vulnerability assessments.

Key responsibilities

  • Define security requirements and design security solutions
  • Perform analysis on security data and test results
  • Prepare and maintain compliance security documentation
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on cybersecurity solutions
  • Conduct cybersecurity audits to maintain compliance
  • Define and implement security controls on networking devices and systems
  • Oversee vulnerability assessments and Assessment and Authorization events

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity and risk management frameworks
  • Active U.S. government issued security clearance
  • Experience with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Knowledge of security features and vulnerabilities of operating systems
  • Experience with network and system security administration for MS Windows and Linux
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, CISA preferred
