Job Description

Overview

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join their team in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. The role requires an active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance and involves defining security requirements, guiding cybersecurity solutions, and conducting audits to ensure compliance with established security standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Define security requirements and design solutions related to security technologies.
  • Perform analysis on security collected data and test results.
  • Prepare and maintain compliance security related documentation.
  • Define cybersecurity requirements, design, and architecture artifacts.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and execute Assessment and Authorization (A&A) events.
  • Collaborate with program and engineering teams to ensure cybersecurity solutions.
  • Conduct cybersecurity audits to ensure compliance of the security posture.
  • Implement security controls for networking devices, databases, and systems.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management frameworks
  • Active U.S. government issued security clearance
  • Experience with NSA, NIST, DISA security features and vulnerabilities
  • Network and system security administration experience, including MS Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • Familiarity with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)
