Overview

The Senior CT Technologist at Mercy is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. This role demands expertise in operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and assisting in the training and orientation of new staff while serving as a lead when necessary.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Ensure patient safety and maintain imaging standards
  • Serve as a lead in the absence of leadership
  • Assist in orientation and training of new staff
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals

Required skills

  • Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • State licensure as required
  • ARRT (CT) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Leadership and team motivation skills
  • Strong decision-making and conflict resolution abilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to manage multiple tasks
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and perform various movements
