Key responsibilities

  • Own criminal defense matters end-to-end, driving strategy and client rights.

  • Lead client relationships, providing high-impact legal counsel.
  • Draft and file precise and persuasive motions, briefs, and pleadings.
  • Negotiate favorable resolutions leveraging preparation and insight.
  • Command the courtroom with focused arguments and strategic cross-examinations.
  • Master evolving statutes, case law, and legal trends.

Required skills

  • Juris Doctor (JD) and active Minnesota law license
  • 5+ years of criminal defense or related litigation experience
