Key responsibilities

  • Own criminal defense matters end-to-end, driving strategy and outcomes.
  • Engineer sophisticated, evidence-driven defense strategies through legal research and analysis.
  • Lead client relationships with authority and provide high-impact legal counsel.
  • Draft and file precise and persuasive motions, briefs, and pleadings.
  • Negotiate from strength to secure advantageous resolutions.
  • Command the courtroom with focused arguments and strategic cross-examinations.
  • Stay ahead of evolving statutes, case law, and legal trends.

Required skills

  • Juris Doctor (JD) and active Minnesota law license in good standing
  • 5+ years of hands-on criminal defense or related litigation experience
  • Exceptional legal research and persuasive writing skills
