Overview

Power Systems International, LLC is seeking a Senior Control Panel Wireman / Installer to support automation solutions and client projects. The role requires experience in electrical and mechanical systems, focusing on high-quality control panel assembly and customer service. The successful candidate will manage various electrical components and collaborate within diverse teams to ensure project success.

Key responsibilities

  • Read and interpret complex electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • Measure, mark, drill, and cut metal backplates for component assembly.
  • Physically install components such as PLCs, VFDs, and transformers.
  • Route and terminate wiring cleanly through ducts.
  • Perform continuity checks and assist with functional testing of panels.
  • Travel to client facilities for on-site installations and commissioning.

Required skills

  • 5+ years of experience in instrumentation, electrical, or controls positions.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron).
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and motion control.
  • Proficiency in industrial communication networks, including Ethernet.
  • Experience with automation components like sensors and robots.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Accredited training in instrumentation or electrical technology preferred.
