Overview

Join Mercy as a Senior Consultant in Decision Support, where you will enhance the organization's financial health while supporting its mission to serve the community compassionately. You will work closely with operational leaders and the community CFO to identify financial insights and recommend strategies for improved performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify financial opportunities and insights to enhance margin performance
  • Develop and apply comparative methodologies and standardized monitoring tools
  • Evaluate financial performance using analytical frameworks
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to explore root causes and envision future possibilities
  • Monitor progress to ensure goals are met and improvements are sustained

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in healthcare
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex financial data
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
  • Proven collaboration skills with various teams and stakeholders
  • Proactive and self-motivated with curiosity and initiative
  • Experience developing comparative methodologies and standardized monitoring logic
