Overview

Micron Technology is seeking a Senior CMP Equipment Engineer in Boise, Idaho, to enhance their semiconductor manufacturing processes. The role involves overseeing the installation, maintenance, optimization, and development of CMP equipment, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

  • Install and qualify CMP equipment in the new cleanroom
  • Analyze CMP equipment performance, including data analysis and maintenance
  • Collaborate with process engineers to resolve equipment-related issues
  • Manage projects to address hardware gaps around equipment deficiencies
  • Develop and implement Total Productive Maintenance strategies
  • Establish vendor relations to drive equipment performance

Required skills

  • 2+ years of experience as Equipment Owner with CMP
  • BS or Masters in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficient in Data Science and Programming
