Job Description

Overview

The Senior Cell Validation Engineer at Clarios is responsible for managing validation activities at the Lithium Ion and Advanced Products Laboratory. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop test specifications that evaluate the performance of various cell chemistries, ensuring safety and performance objectives are met.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and maintain validation activities for cell testing
  • Collaborate with engineers to define test plans
  • Communicate key findings and test issues with stakeholders
  • Manage and conduct tests across multiple cell chemistries
  • Program instrumentation and write test scripts
  • Compile data and generate accurate test reports
  • Maintain and troubleshoot testing equipment
  • Monitor and maintain calibration of test equipment
  • Support IATF 16949 audits by providing validation documents
  • Train new employees on testing procedures

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in advanced cells testing
  • Hands-on expertise with cell testing equipment
  • Experience with cell modeling and data analysis tools
  • Solid communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project
  • Ability to analyze and interpret technical procedures
