Description: Senior BuyerLocation: Johnson Creek, Wisconsin or Milwaukee, WisconsinWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Buyer to join our growing manufacturing team.This position plays a critical role in ensuring our operations have the materials necessary to support production, customer requirements, and company growth. The Senior Buyer will manage supplier relationships, execute purchasing activities, monitor inventory levels, support material planning, and help drive continuous improvement throughout the supply chain process.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced purchasing professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants to play a key role in supporting business operations.What You'll Do Purchase production materials, components, castings, packaging, and operational supplies. Manage supplier relationships and coordinate delivery schedules. Review forecasts, inventory levels, and MRP recommendations to support purchasing decisions. Monitor material availability and proactively address shortages. Collaborate with suppliers on innovation and cost-reduction opportunities Analyze spending patterns to identify savings opportunities. Support ERP system utilization and process improvements. Consolidate purchases between locations to leverage volume discounts. Requirements: What We're Looking For 3-5+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience working with ERP/MRP systems. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing deadlines. Excellent communication and supplier relationship management skills. Experience with inventory management and material planning is preferred.
