YOUR ROLEAs manager of the Life Product Technical Development team, you will serve as the senior technical business owner for the Life Exception policy administration and in-force Illustration platform (LASSIE), including the desktop based 'A Programming Language' (APL) tools not yet converted. You will be responsible for driving end-to-end requirements for complex calculation changes, including enhancements, defect resolution, and modernization initiatives across the Python-based calculation engine and legacy APL tools. This role requires strong domain understanding, the ability to navigate ambiguity, and ownership of delivering high-quality, implementation-ready requirements. You will apply specialized Python development expertise and strong engineering practices to keep the calculation engine current with changing regulatory, product, and business requirements while identifying, recommending, and delivering scalable enhancements that strengthen long-term platform quality.
