Overview

Entensiv is seeking a Senior Building Automation Field Service Engineer to join their Boston-based team. This role involves diagnosing complex BAS issues, programming controllers, and building client relationships while managing projects from conception to completion.

Key responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve complex BAS issues across a diverse portfolio of facilities
  • Program, configure, and commission BAS controllers and sequences of operation
  • Interface directly with clients and project teams to communicate findings and solutions
  • Support teammates in the field with knowledge sharing and collaborative troubleshooting

Required skills

  • 8+ years of Building Automation field service experience
  • 5+ years of BAS programming experience
  • Strong proficiency with Johnson Controls Facilities Explorer / Metasys / CCT
  • Experience troubleshooting BAS communication networks (BACnet MS/TP & IP)
  • Solid HVAC system knowledge and control theory fundamentals
  • Ability to manage small projects independently
  • Clear and professional communication skills
