Overview

347 Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Biologist for a part-time role based in Fremont, California. The position involves overseeing biological and safety compliance on job sites, particularly in the Santa Clara and Fremont areas, with a focus on evaluating habitat and wildlife protections.

Key responsibilities

  • Review project documents and evaluate requirements
  • Conduct daily field inspections for compliance
  • Submit daily inspection reports and required photos to stakeholders
  • Provide training and daily environmental updates
  • Coordinate with the construction team regarding planned work activities and changes
  • Attend construction meetings as needed

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Ecology, Anthropology, Archaeology or related field
  • 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education
  • Experience with construction compliance monitoring
  • Ability to evaluate habitat suitability and identify special-status wildlife
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws on species and habitats protection
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Valid US Driver's license
