Overview

The Senior Auditor at AAA Life Insurance Company will lead and execute internal audits, assessing internal controls and ensuring compliance with company policies. This role emphasizes data analytics and process improvement, requiring strong leadership skills to guide other auditors and effectively communicate audit findings.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and execute complex internal audits.
  • Assess the effectiveness of internal controls across operational, financial, and technology areas.
  • Leverage data analytics software for in-depth data analysis.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations.
  • Conduct risk assessments to determine audit scope.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced auditors.
  • Propose and implement process improvements within the audit function.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Internal Audit, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in internal auditing, external auditing, accounting, or financial analysis.
  • Proficiency with automated audit management and data analytics software.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI and Microsoft Office.
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
  • Strong project management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
