Overview

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Associate, Manufacturing Engineer to support their team in Camden, AR. This role involves developing, implementing, and analyzing manufacturing engineering plans and projects while ensuring alignment with customers' mission-critical needs. The position promotes process improvement and collaboration within engineering project teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement manufacturing engineering plans and projects
  • Create and maintain process documentation and work instructions
  • Identify and implement process improvements in collaboration with Engineers and Operators
  • Establish root cause and corrective actions using structured problem-solving methods
  • Manage product and process change through participation in change control boards
  • Define and implement production system standards and provide training to Engineers and Technicians
  • Support production validation builds on new or modified processes
  • Estimate and track manufacturing costs and recommend tooling and process requirements

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of prior related Engineering experience or more with a relevant degree
  • 6 years of prior related Engineering experience in lieu of a degree
  • RCCA, PFEMA, APQP experience
  • Team collaboration and training capabilities
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations and engineering tools
