Overview

The Senior Associate in Financial Planning & Analysis for Strategic Tech Finance at Capital One will provide essential financial support to the FP&A Tech Strategy Finance team. This role involves developing methodologies for financial transparency, analyzing results to identify business opportunities, and collaborating with leadership on financial implications of initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct financial analysis and reporting to explain key drivers and manage reporting processes
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management
  • Develop executive business presentations to communicate analysis results
  • Manage ad-hoc requests related to acquisition topics
  • Prioritize and delegate tasks while acting as project lead for certain responsibilities

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • Minimum 2 years of financial analysis experience
  • Minimum 2 years of financial modeling experience
  • At least 1 year of FP&A support experience
  • Preferred 3+ years of financial analysis experience
  • Preferred 3+ years of financial modeling experience
  • Preferred 2+ years of FP&A support experience
  • Preferred 2+ years of Big 4 consulting experience
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders
