Overview

The Senior Associate position in Corporate Finance - Turnaround & Restructuring at BRG involves providing strategic and financial advice to various clients, including private equity firms and management teams. The role emphasizes teamwork and collaboration in completing diverse turnaround advisory assignments, with a focus on financial modeling and analysis.

Key responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day activities of the Corporate Finance - Turnaround & Restructuring client service teams.
  • Execute multiple tasks across consulting engagements, including modeling and client presentations.
  • Create and analyze 13-week cash flow models and three-statement financial models.
  • Prepare reports, written analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables.
  • Collaborate with professionals from BRG and other firms to achieve engagement objectives.
  • Participate in the development of the consulting practice, including marketing and client pitches.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting/Finance, Management, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of work experience in consulting or professional services.
  • Experience in financial modeling and analysis, particularly in Excel.
  • Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of financial and operational data.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving and project management skills.
  • CFA, CPA (or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Familiarity with financial research tools like Capital IQ and Bloomberg.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

What the company offers

  • $80,000 to $135,000 per year salary range.
