Overview

KPMG is seeking a Senior Associate in Business Tax Services with a focus on real estate, specifically working with REITs, partnerships, and corporations. The role involves providing tax compliance and advisory services, managing client relationships, and leading a team of tax professionals while contributing to significant market activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide tax compliance and advisory services to real estate businesses like REITs and partnerships
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver industry knowledge and insights
  • Build and maintain client relationships through regular engagement
  • Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants on client projects
  • Deliver high-quality tax service and advice to clients
  • Support market and business activities in High Growth Sectors

Required skills

  • Minimum two years of experience in corporate taxation, REITs, and partnerships
  • Solid knowledge of ASC 740
  • Bachelor's degree, J.D., or LL.M. in taxation and/or Master's in Taxation (MST)
  • Experience with partnership taxation
  • Excellent advisory and compliance skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and client service teams
