Overview

The Senior Associate role at Polaris Healthcare Partners is a pivotal leadership position within the Analytics & Consulting team. This role involves leading Analysts, managing client engagements, and driving analytical and strategic efforts to foster group practice growth and operational performance in the healthcare sector.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Analysts while ensuring high-quality analytical output.
  • Oversee day-to-day workstreams and set priorities for multiple client engagements.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear communication and building trusted relationships.
  • Create and refine financial models, translating complex data into actionable insights.
  • Contribute to transaction marketing materials and conduct market research to support strategic recommendations.
  • Manage expectations across clients and internal teams while balancing multiple projects.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance the analytics and consulting frameworks.

Required skills

  • B.A./B.S. in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, healthcare operations, or related fields.
  • Experience in dental or healthcare industries preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare/dental practice management systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Open Dental preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Clear, confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
