Job Description

Overview

As a Senior Architect in IP Methodology Engineering at Synopsys, you will lead the development of standardized front-end design methodologies and drive innovation in chip design and verification. With a strong focus on EDA tools and techniques, you will collaborate across teams to enhance productivity and quality in semiconductor IP development.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the development of standardized front-end design methodologies and platforms.
  • Deploy best practices in product teams to optimize performance, power, and area.
  • Partner with diverse teams to provide technical vision for next-generation EDA tool flows.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to foster innovation.
  • Represent Synopsys as a technical ambassador at industry conferences and customer engagements.
  • Mentor and coach engineering talent to promote continuous learning.

Required skills

  • 15+ years of experience in semiconductor IP development and system architecture
  • Expertise in EDA tools and front-end design methodologies
  • Proficiency in Verilog and System Verilog
  • Experience with CDC/RDC analysis and UPF flows
  • Knowledge of IP protocol standards including PCIe, Ethernet, and UFS
  • Strong strategic thinking and technical leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences
