Description: We're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This is a busy, high-responsibility role. You'll manage the month-end close for multiple companies, so strong organization and steady performance under deadlines are essential.In return, you'll work closely with a supportive Controller and accounting team, play a key part in our accounting operations, and see the impact of your work every month. What You'll Do • Manage the month-end close for multiple companies• Coordinate accounting functions and programs• Prepare financial analyses and reports• Prepare revenue projections and forecast expenditures• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts• Assist with annual audit preparation• Investigate and resolve audit findings and account discrepancies• Prepare payroll tax, sales tax and special tax returns• Help improve accounting systems, programs and procedures• Perform other accounting duties as assigned Requirements: What You Bring • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance• 5+ years of accounting experience• Solid working knowledge of GAAP• Strong financial analysis skills• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel• Clear written and verbal communication• Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple deadlines• Initiative and follow-through: you keep your work moving and raise issues early• Experience with US Computers software is a plus The Details • Location: On-site in Broussard, Louisiana• Reports to: Controller• Pay: Competitive, based on experiencePI738ec09ef0ac-2012
