Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant Support full cycle accounts payable processing and serve as backup for the accounting specialist as the Senior Accountant Prepare accounts receivable activity related to county, federal, and state funding and reporting as the Senior Accountant Assist with bi weekly payroll processing and maintain payroll system accuracy as the Senior Accountant Monitor inventory schedules, analyze weekly cash intake, and perform reconciliations of monthly units as the Senior Accountant Support month end close processes, including journal entries, corrections, and deposit transmissions as the Senior Accountant Qualifications for the Senior Accountant Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 5+ years of accounting experience, with nonprofit experience required Advanced Excel skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy What You'll Gain as a Senior Accountant Opportunity to make a meaningful community impact through mission driven work Supportive team culture with accessible leadership Exposure to multiple accounting functions in a hands on role Stable, well established nonprofit environment
