Senior level accounting position responsible for general ledger reconciliations, general ledger analysis and forecasting, assist with reserve valuations, develops procedures, tests account backup, and special projects as assigned. This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.Your Impact Responsible for monthly account reconciliations, and analysisResponsible for balance sheet trend analysis and reportingMonitors assigned accounts for exposure, report concerns to managerResearches and corrects account discrepanciesTests ledger backupParticipates in the month-end closeAssists with transmission and reporting of financialsResponsible for special projects, as required by managementAssists with physical inventory and fixed asset auditsSupports internal and use tax audits of fixed assetsAssists other department members and managers with projectsAbout You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 5 years of related experienceWorking knowledge of GAAP including experience in and ability to research GAAP and other Authoritative PronouncementsStrong Excel skillsCPA License is requiredAudit Experience with a large Regional and/or International Public Accounting Firm is preferredRequires strong initiative.
