Job Description

Overview

Becker Global America is seeking a high-performing Senior Accountant to enhance financial accuracy, integrity, and lead fixed asset accounting in a manufacturing context. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can ensure financial data is supportable and audit-ready.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
  • Deliver timely, accurate, and fully supported financial results
  • Analyze performance and provide actionable variance explanations
  • Prepare and review cash, prepaids, accruals, and intercompany reconciliations
  • Ensure all balances are fully supported and audit-ready
  • Manage the full fixed asset lifecycle including construction in progress (CIP)
  • Enforce capitalization policies and ensure compliance
  • Reconcile subledger to general ledger and record depreciation
  • Provide backup support for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Identify and implement process improvements

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Strong fixed asset accounting experience
  • SAP or ERP system experience
  • Strong analytical mindset
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Deep understanding of financial controls and audit readiness
  • Clear, professional communication skills
