Overview

The University of Cincinnati is seeking a Senior Academic Advisor in Enrollment Management to support current and prospective students in achieving their educational, professional, and personal goals. This position involves providing academic advising, program leadership, and utilizing data to enhance students' success while contributing to a positive student experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide academic advising to facilitate students' educational planning and degree completion.
  • Ensure accurate advice and quality support for a positive student experience.
  • Support students through educational transition processes such as orientation and exploration.
  • Evaluate student information and utilize data for enrollment and registration.
  • Track office data regarding various student populations served.
  • Engage in professional development to stay updated on advising practices and policies.
  • Collaborate with UC advising community colleagues to improve advising quality.
  • Lead programmatic areas of oversight for student achievement programs.
  • Train new academic advisors and staff on key student service functions.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree
