Overview

Micron is seeking a Semiconductor Process Engineer 4 to innovate memory and storage solutions by evaluating new hardware platforms and process chemistries. The role involves developing wet process technologies, improving existing processes, and implementing change to enhance product quality and reliability while managing cost and risk.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate new hardware platforms and process chemistries
  • Develop revolutionary wet process technologies
  • Establish technology roadmaps for future device requirements
  • Improve existing processes for capability and efficiency
  • Resolve manufacturing line problems and enhance process yield
  • Conduct failure analysis and coordinate process optimization
  • Manage and audit material suppliers for quality and cost objectives
  • Handle new process baseline qualifications

Required skills

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, or related fields
  • 5 years of progressive experience in semiconductor process engineering
  • Electrical engineering concepts and theory
  • Chip design and Technology Computer-Aided Design (TCAD)
  • Advanced mathematics and analytical skills
  • Silicon fabrication and critical front end processing
  • Wet etch processing and characterization
  • Numerical analysis and optimization
