Overview

Micron Technology is seeking a Semiconductor Process Engineer 4 to drive innovation in memory and storage solutions. The role focuses on evaluating new hardware platforms, developing advanced wet process technologies, and improving existing semiconductor processes for future DRAM technology nodes.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate new hardware platforms and process chemistries
  • Develop revolutionary wet process technologies
  • Establish technology roadmaps with engineers and suppliers
  • Improve process capability, productivity, and efficiency
  • Resolve manufacturing line problems using failure analysis
  • Coordinate and carry out process, equipment, and material evaluations
  • Lead yield improvement and cost reduction activities
  • Manage and audit relationships with material suppliers

Required skills

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, or related fields
  • 5 years of progressive experience in semiconductor process engineering
  • Electrical engineering concepts and theory
  • Chip design and Technology Computer-Aided Design (TCAD)
  • Advanced mathematics and analytical skills
  • Silicon fab processing and critical front end fab processing
  • Semiconductor fabrication and processing
  • Wet etch processing and characterization
  • Numerical analysis, optimization, and/or simulation
