Overview

Micron Technology is seeking a Semiconductor Process Engineer 4 based in Boise, Idaho. This role involves evaluating new hardware platforms, conducting research, and developing innovative wet process technologies for future DRAM technology nodes. The engineer will focus on improving existing processes, enhancing product quality and reliability, and resolving manufacturing line problems through various analytical methodologies.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate new hardware platforms and process chemistries
  • Perform fundamental research and chemistry development
  • Develop revolutionary wet process technologies for DRAM technology nodes
  • Establish technology roadmaps with Micron engineers and suppliers
  • Improve existing processes for capability, productivity, and efficiency
  • Start up, develop, and optimize processes for product quality improvement
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve assembly process problems using failure analysis
  • Coordinate and carry out process, equipment and material evaluations
  • Lead yield improvement and cost reduction activities
  • Handle new process baseline qualifications and manage material suppliers
