Overview

Micron Technology is seeking a Semiconductor Process Engineer 4 to innovate and optimize semiconductor processes. The role involves evaluating new hardware platforms, developing wet process technologies, and improving existing processes to enhance product quality, yield, and efficiency while managing the challenges in manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate new hardware platforms and process chemistries
  • Develop revolutionary wet process technologies for future DRAM technology nodes
  • Establish technology roadmaps and collaborate with engineers and suppliers
  • Improve processes for capability, productivity, and efficiency
  • Diagnose and resolve assembly process issues using failure analysis and methodologies like FMEA and SPC
  • Coordinate process, equipment, and material evaluations
  • Lead yield improvement and cost reduction activities
  • Manage supplier relationships to optimize quality and risk management

Required skills

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, or related fields
  • 5 years of experience in semiconductor process engineering or related occupation
  • Electrical engineering concepts theory
  • Chip design and Technology Computer-Aided Design (TCAD)
  • Advanced mathematics and analytical skills
  • Silicon fab processing and Critical front end fab processing
  • Semiconductor fabrication and processing
  • Wet Etch processing and characterization
  • Numerical Analysis, optimization, and/or simulation
