Job Description

Overview

Micron is seeking a Semiconductor Process Engineer to monitor and optimize processes at their Idaho facility. The role involves collaboration with various teams to resolve issues, ensure quality output, and implement improvements, while also being engaged in data analysis and project management.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor health of assigned processes and ensure high-quality output.
  • Collaborate with shift teams to resolve tool process issues.
  • Communicate priorities and issues with MDE and Shift Ops leaders.
  • Attend and participate in DAM, TPM Teams, and other relevant meetings.
  • Gather input for area improvement from Engineers and Technicians.
  • Analyze data to drive cost-reduction activities.
  • Resolve capacity-related issues and monitor equipment usage.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for complex process problems.
  • Manage projects to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Coordinate and lead meetings with follow-up actions.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 3 years of experience in Semiconductor Process Engineering
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), JMP, Qoniac
  • SPC principles and manufacturing processes
  • Experience with GeRM, Mfg Central, Yield3, Klarity, and Exceed K2view
  • Understanding of probe and param functions
