Overview

J.D. Hawkins & Associates is seeking a Urologist with FPMRS skills to join a busy independent urology group in Des Moines, Iowa. This position offers the chance to provide general urologic and sub-specialty care with a focus on female reconstructive surgery, supported by a strong team of APPs and access to advanced robotic surgical systems.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide general urologic care and sub-specialty care in FPMRS
  • Utilize laparoscopic and robotic surgical skills
  • Manage patient care with assistance from APPs
  • Participate in a partnership track with the practice
  • Contribute to building a wholly owned Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC)
  • Leverage a large referral base from over 1,000+ physicians

Required skills

  • Experience in urology and FPMRS
  • Proficient in robotic and laparoscopic surgeries
  • Patient management skills
  • Familiarity with healthcare administration and revenue cycle management
