Job Description

Overview

As a Security Officer at BlueOval Battery Park Michigan, you will be responsible for supporting security and fire operations within the plant. This includes access control, CCTV monitoring, and emergency response, working closely with manufacturing teams in a dynamic environment to ensure safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide on-site support for security and fire operations.
  • Assist with security initiatives and special projects.
  • Complete and document monthly fire tasks.
  • Enforce security and fire protocols for compliance.
  • Respond to emergency incidents including medical situations and suspicious activities.
  • Act as Incident Commander during emergencies.
  • Enhance emergency response capabilities with tools and equipment.
  • Support VIP visits with security assistance.
  • Conduct investigations and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Identify and address physical security gaps.

Required skills

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in law enforcement or military
  • Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage conflicts and multi-task in stressful situations
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Leadership and initiative in a dynamic environment
  • Current CPL or ability to acquire one within 30 days prior to hire
  • Knowledge of emergency response levels
