Overview

As a Security Officer at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, you'll be part of a dynamic team focused on ensuring the safety of guests and employees. This seasonal role involves patrolling the park, managing access control, and responding to emergencies while enjoying the benefits of being a team member, including free admission to the park and discounts.

Key responsibilities

  • Interact with guests providing directions and assistance
  • Protect employees, guests, and company property
  • Enforce park policies and procedures
  • Control park access, including vehicle permits and ID checks
  • Patrol and inspect assigned areas
  • Keep unauthorized personnel out of restricted areas
  • Greet and screen guests at entry points
  • Rapidly respond to alarms and emergency situations
  • Monitor for safety hazards like fire, theft, and vandalism
  • Maintain orderly ride queue lines
  • Write detailed reports of incidents and security records
  • Apprehend violators if necessary
  • Escort guests and team members for assistance

Required skills
