Overview

Securitas is seeking a full-time Security Command Center Operator in Ottawa, Ontario. The role is essential for ensuring the security and safety of client property and personnel through observation, reporting incidents, and conducting patrols.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and customers
  • Conduct remote patrols and provide access control
  • Respond to emergency situations appropriately and in a timely manner
  • Perform safety and security duties with professionalism and integrity
  • Complete incident reports for security purposes
  • Write reports, respond to emails, and create access profiles
  • Other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Bilingual in English and French
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid Ontario Security guard license
  • Strong observational skills
  • Crisis management capabilities
  • Proficiency in using security technology
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment
