Overview

As a Security Alarm Dispatcher at Securitas Technology, you will play a vital role in the 24/7 Alarm Monitoring Center, responding to alarm signals and ensuring the safety of clients by coordinating communications with emergency services. This full-time position involves working various shifts, including weekends and holidays, and focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while managing alarm events.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming alarm signals according to documented procedures
  • Notify authorities and contact lists in emergency situations
  • Log information into the automation system accurately and immediately
  • Answer a multi-line telephone system
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1-3 years of work experience preferred
  • Typing speed of 30+ words per minute
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
