Overview

Secretary TechnicianThe Secretary Technician performs the duties of both a Nurse Tech and Unit Secretary as needed in support of the department's operations. Provides safe, efficient, and therapeutic patient care services under direction of Licensed Nurse and Medical Staff. Assists with unit staffing, recording information in the medical records, and ensuring that the unit's reporting and documentation of information be completed in a professional and timely manner.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:High school Diploma or equivalent (GED)One (1) year experience performing Nursing/Patient Care Assistant duties in an acute care setting or skilled nursing facilityOne (1) year experience performing Administrative/Unit Secretarial duties in an acute care setting or skilled nursing facilityCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) CertificationPreferred Qualifications:Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificationOverviewNationally Recognized.
