Overview

Intuit is hiring Seasonal Tax Experts to join their TurboTax locations, focusing on community engagement and tax preparation services. This role emphasizes building customer relationships and helping clients navigate their tax needs, while also contributing to TurboTax's mission of empowering financial prosperity.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a proactive community ambassador for TurboTax
  • Engage with new prospects and convert them into long-term clients
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services
  • Facilitate tax discovery sessions and reviews to minimize liabilities and maximize refunds
  • Create exceptional customer experiences through professionalism and genuine interest
  • Interact with customers both in-person and via video communication tools
  • Address client inquiries related to tax challenges

Required skills

  • Active credential: EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns
  • Familiarity with Circular 230 and active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Ability to work flexible 25-34 hour weekly schedule
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with technology, including tax preparation software and CRM tools
  • Interest in building a local and online social presence
