Overview

Intuit is looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable Tax Experts to join their team on a seasonal basis at TurboTax locations across the United States. The role focuses on helping customers with their tax needs while promoting TurboTax's services in the local community. Employees will provide personalized tax preparation and advisory services both in-person and virtually, aiming to create long-lasting relationships with clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a proactive community ambassador by engaging with new prospects and converting them into long-term clients.
  • Provide hands-on tax preparation and advice for a variety of tax situations.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and minimize tax liabilities.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences and connect personally with clients.
  • Utilize TurboTax marketing support and software to build a thriving client base.

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential with strong tax preparation experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years filing federal and state individual 1040 tax returns using professional software.
  • Familiarity with Circular 230 and possession of an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
  • Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
