Overview

Intuit is looking for passionate individuals to join as Seasonal Tax Experts in retail locations across the United States. This role blends tax expertise with community engagement, allowing experts to assist customers in navigating their tax needs while building long-term relationships and customer loyalty within the local community.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a proactive community ambassador, representing TurboTax and engaging with potential clients.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services for clients with varying complexities.
  • Facilitate tax discovery sessions and provide strategic tax planning advice.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and build trust through positive client interactions.
  • Use Intuit's video communication tools for virtual client consultations.

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential with strong tax preparation experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season
  • Knowledge of tax laws and familiarity with Circular 230
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
