Overview

Intuit is looking for motivated individuals to take on the role of Seasonal Tax Associate - Retail On-Site, where they will serve customers in new TurboTax locations across the United States. This position involves leveraging tax expertise to assist clients with their tax needs while establishing long-term relationships within the local community.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a community ambassador, representing TurboTax and engaging with new prospects.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and full service tax return preparation for clients with various tax situations.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and provide future tax planning advice.
  • Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine interest in clients' financial goals.
  • Interact with customers both in-person and virtually using Intuit's communication tools.

Required skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing federal and state individual 1040 tax returns using professional tax preparation
  • Ability to obtain necessary state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds along with an active Preparer Tax Identifica
  • Familiarity with Circular 230 and experience in holistic tax advisory services.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) communication is a plus.
  • Proficient with technology, including tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
