Overview

Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join their team as Seasonal Tax Associates - Retail On-Site in various TurboTax locations across the United States. This role focuses on using tax expertise to help customers navigate their tax needs while fostering community engagement and building long-term relationships with clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Represent TurboTax in the community and engage with prospects to convert them into long-term clients.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services for various tax situations.
  • Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to optimize deductions and maximize refunds.
  • Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine interest in clients' financial goals.
  • Interact with customers both in-person and via video communication tools.

Required skills

  • Tax preparation experience with 50+ individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional software.
  • State licenses and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Ability to work a flexible 25-34 hour weekly schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience in holistic tax advisory services and familiarity with Circular 230.
  • Proficient with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
