Overview

Intuit is looking for motivated individuals to join their team as Seasonal Tax Associates - Retail On-Site in New York City. This role involves providing tax preparation services and expert advice to customers both in-person and virtually, helping them with their tax needs while building long-term relationships within the community.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a community ambassador for TurboTax, engaging with prospects and converting them into long-term clients.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and complete tax preparation services for clients.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to minimize tax liabilities and maximize refunds.
  • Create an exceptional customer experience by addressing inquiries and helping clients overcome tax-related challenges.
  • Participate in local marketing efforts and lead community events to promote tax services.

Required skills

  • 3 years of experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season
  • Familiarity with Circular 230
  • Ability to obtain related state licenses and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Proficient with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
  • Experience in holistic tax advisory services
